Jarjeer Mule and Donkey Trust is a registered charity, based in the UK,  but providing support for Jarjeer Mule and Donkey Refuge in Marrakech. The Refuge staff work throughout Morocco, providing invaluable support for donkeys and mules who have been mistreated or are coming to the end of their working life. At the moment they house and look after around 100 donkeys and mules, and employ workers from our neighbouring village of Oumnass. 

We are asking the public and our supporters to help us raise  £15,000. This would allow us to pay for a truck large enough to carry donkeys and mules to and from our Refuge and to transport the large amount of food! Currently, contractors are paid to do this which, in turn, puts a further strain on funds that is already stretched due to an ever increasing population. 

Jarjeer would struggle to carry out the vital work that it does without the generosity of the public and their donations; the help that they provide for us is vital. We at Jarjeer appreciate anything you can spare for our vehicle fundraiser, and hope that you understand how important your support is to us.
