Honey arrives at Jarjeer

Today SiMohamed and Ayoub went to collect Honey from Marrakech. She had attracted a large audience on TikTok where she had been seen eating out of trash cans. Animal rescue Morocco (ARM) had been alerted by a Moroccan lady living in Denmark. They contacted us and we were able to identify Maj Da as the person who posted the TikTok. She in turn has been a supporter of Jarjeer and was instrumental in negotiating the release of the Mule from the owner.

The first photograph below shows the horrific bit that Ayoub took out of the mules mouth. These bits are made of iron and are used to control the Mule. Honey, who is actually a male, will never see one of these again.
